1938 - (19th January) Dandenong Bush Fire Brigade (D.B.F.B.) registered with Bush Fire Brigades Committee
1939 - Major Bush Fires in Victoria. More community interest in D.B.F.B.
1944 - D.B.F.B. reformed with group centers in Hampton Park and Lysterfield as well as Dandenong and Keysborough.
1945 - D.B.F.B. Receives further tanker, ex-army Bedford.
1948 - D.B.F.B. builds truck shed at the rear of Dandenong fire station in Robinson Street, Dandenong.
1949 - R.O. Brocchi congratulates the brigade on it's performance over the past year and stated that the brigade was one of the best equipped in his region.
1955 - Fire truck and equipment shifted to Keysborough.
1956 - D.B.F.B. renamed Keysborough Rural Fire Brigade (K.R.F.B.)
1959 - Region 8 demo knapsack race won in record time by G. Allen. This record still stands.
1961 - K.R.F.B. Station in Chapel Road officially opened by the chairman of the Country Fire Authority Mr R. J. Mc Farlane.
1961 - K.R.F.B. holds Region 8 demos at Keysborough Reserve.
1963 - Siren installed at station.
1963 - K.R.F.B. holds Region 8 demos at Keysborough Reserve.
1963 - Keysborough wins discipline event at Region 10 demos.
1964 - Keysborough wins discipline event at state demos held at Frankston.
1965 - Region 26 is created from parts of Regions 8 and 13.
1970 - Region 8 demos won outright by Keysborough.
1973 - Keysborough wins discipline event at Region 8 demos.
1983 - Ash Wednesday fires.
1985 - J Model Bedford replaced by International C1500 Tanker.
1986 - Emergency Services display held at Parkmore Shopping Center.
1986 - Tanker 2 cab chassis purchased.
1987 - (27th Jan) Tanker 2 fully operational.
1989 - Isuzu 2.2D tanker delivered to Keysborough.
1991 - Noble Park Lions Club donates two positive pressure B.A.'s.
1991 - K.R.F.B. Plans extensions to fire station.
1992 - Extension to station built.
1994 - Fundraising commences for replacement of Tanker II Cab Chassis.
1995 - Companies and organisations contribute over $9,000 in major donations to replace Tanker II.
1995 - New Mitsubishi Canter Cab Chassis purchased for Tanker II.
1995 - (16th April) Tanker II operational with new Cab Chassis.
2004 - (23rd April) Keysborough Rural Fire Brigade becomes Keysborough Urban Fire Brigade.
